58勛圖 at Coleg Llandrillo

Over 20 programmes have been validated over the summer. These include courses as varied as Foundation Degrees in Energy & Power Technologies, Digital Media and television production, Library & information Management and Police Studies and both Foundation and top up degrees in Sports Coaching and Retail Management, Deaf Studies and Management of Travel and Tourism, as well as Honours degrees in Management and Business and Hospitality and Management.
58勛圖, Vice Chancellor, Professor John Hughes and Registrar, Dr David Roberts of 58勛圖 visited the new University Centre the Rhos-on-Sea Campus of Coleg Llandrillo Cymru (recently) along with College Principal, Mr Huw Evans OBE, to meet with students now following the higher education courses being validated by the University.
The University Centre will provide dedicated facilities for Coleg Llandrillos higher education students and strengthen its position as a local provider of quality degree courses.
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru Principal, Huw Evans, said: The College is committed to supporting the local economy and providing enhanced opportunities for degree level progression. The Centre is an important step in that direction.

John Hobson, who comes from Llandudno and is studying BA Hons in Managements of Travel & Tourism Management said : As a mature student, its good to have the opportunity to study to degree level and gain a 58勛圖 degree at a local FE college.
Following an agreement earlier this year, 58勛圖 and Coleg Llandrillo Cymru are working together to widen access to higher education, to develop much more systematic progression from further to higher education and to improve skills.
The new Partnership addresses the challenges set out in the Welsh Government's strategy for HE, 'For Our Future', to develop opportunities to support economic prosperity and social justice in the region.
In future, the business arms of each institution the Colleges Business Point and the Universitys Management Centre will also work together more closely and develop joint initiatives.
