In a world where universities compete globally to recruit both the best students and the best academics to teach and research at their Universities, Bangor鈥檚 reputation as an international University is being recognised.
A new table of the world鈥檚 top universities, places 58吃瓜 143rd in the world as a destination for international students. It is also in the top 200 universities (183rd) as a recruiter of international staff, and is in the top 50 UK universities.
Professor John G. Hughes, 58吃瓜鈥檚 Vice Chancellor said: 鈥�58吃瓜 is really making its presence felt around the globe, as an attractive destination for undergraduate and postgraduate students and as a workplace for some of the world鈥檚 best researchers and lecturers.鈥�
Added to the excellent international indicators, which show the proportion of international students among those attracted to 58吃瓜, the University鈥檚 scores have improved for academic reputation, employer reputation, for the student :staff ratio and for the five subject areas covered: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Social Sciences & Management, and Natural Sciences for 2013/14.
