Overview
Validation and revalidation panels help maintain academic standards, enhance programme quality and provide valuable opportunities to learn from practice across the University. This practical workshop will take the uncertainty out of panel membership. You will learn how to review evidence confidently, ask constructive questions and contribute effectively to panel decisions.
Participants will learn how to:
- Understand panel members’ roles and responsibilities;
- Review evidence using a structured approach;
- Identify key academic and student-experience issues;
- Provide clear, constructive feedback; and
- Prepare for a panel and access support throughout the process
The workshop is suitable for prospective and experienced reviewers seeking a refresher or an opportunity to share effective practice.
